So exactly how does this home delivery process work? It’s so simple!

Place an order from our online store featuring hundreds of farm-fresh, all-natural, and locally sourced products.
Purchase a South Mountain Creamery. You can use your own cooler, certainly, but ours is much cooler (pun intended.) A porch box or cooler will keep your produce from freezing in the winter and from wilting in the summer heat. And, will keep out the curious squirrel.
Place your cooler outside by 5:00pm the night before your delivery. Set the empty bottles and canvas bags out for pickup. (A deposit is charged for these items with each order and credited to your account when returned.)
Enjoy delicious, fresh-from-the-farm food. Repeat weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
We deliver to each location once per week.
Delivery days are Tuesday thru Friday, though we occasionally run routes on Mondays as needed (such as in the case of inclement weather or holidays).
Your particular delivery day is determined by the route that you are assigned to. In being aware of our carbon footprint, we naturally group all of our deliveries to the same region, same neighborhood, on the same day.
Delivery times are anywhere from 5:00pm (the night prior to your delivery) to 2:00pm, the actual day of your delivery. Depending on our deliveries for that week, your order can arrive any time within that window.
Be sure to leave your cooler out the night prior to your scheduled delivery.
If you live in a secured or gated community, please alert the security staff. We must have access to your area from 5:00pm (the night prior to) to 4:00pm on the day of your delivery.

Every time you click + ADD TO DELIVERY that item is instantly added to your cart.
- You may add or remove items in your cart right up until your cutoff time.
- There is no checkout. Items that are in your cart after the cutoff time are tallied up and your credit card on file is charged for that order.
For Your Convenience: Recurring Orders
Recurring orders are not required, but they do make your life so much easier. With a recurring order, you’ll never run out of the essentials. Know that you go through a dozen eggs each week? Add it to your recurring order. Have a favorite loaf of artisan bread? Add it to your recurring order. Does your family consume milk weekly? Add it to your recurring order and never miss a week.
You can change your recurring order as often as you’d like, adding/or removing items as your needs change. Having items as a recurring order buys you the peace of mind that you’ll never forget to order the milk!
Changing an Order
You can add, remove, and change your order as much as you like, right up until your cutoff. Cutoffs are as follows:
Tuesday delivery day CUTOFF: Saturday by 11:59pm
Wednesday delivery day CUTOFF: Sunday by 11:59pm
Thursday delivery day CUTOFF: Monday by 11:59pm
Friday delivery day CUTOFF: Tuesday by 11:59pm
Oops! How can I make a change to my order after the cutoff?
We start processing orders at the crack of dawn, the very next day. You can try to send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and hope we get it before your order is processed. You can try to give us a call 301-371-8565 and hope you get us before we get started on your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but can’t make any promises.
Fees & Payments
Your credit card is securely stored in our system and is processed after your cutoff/prior to your delivery. If there is nothing in your cart for the week, nothing is charged, no order is processed, no items are delivered.
