EXPLORE THE FARM
Working Farm
South Mountain Creamery is a real-life, working farm tucked into the sprawling, scenic mountainscape of the Middletown Valley. Owned and operated by the Sowers and Brusco family, this 3,300-acre farm is home to more than 500 dairy cows, over 100 beef cattle, and about 16,000 chickens. Pay us a visit and you’ll discover how we bring you fresh-from-the-farm milk, ice cream, eggs, and more.
We take great pride in being working farmers and supporting other local farmers, too. Let us share our passion with you!

When you visit South Mountain Creamery, stop by Karen’s Kountry Store and treat yourself to hand-dipped or soft serve ice cream, made fresh right here on-site. Browse our farm-fresh products, like milk and butter, as well as produce and products from local farms and vendors.
Each holiday that passes brings seasonal favorites through the store, from Thanksgiving pies and sides, to Valentine’s Day sweets, Easter treats and Christmas staples like Eggnog. There’s always something new to try!
