Come and take a look behind the scenes of a real working farm. Pet the calves, see the milking parlor at work, and stop in at the cow barn—the cows are always excited for guests! You never know you may even get to see a calf come into the world. Here are the highlights:
4:00 p.m. daily (currently closed to the public)
Our calves can get quite rambunctious at feeding time! Our calves are bottle-fed every day at 4 p.m. in our calf barn. Bottle-feeding them ensures they get plenty of the proper nutrition and food to grow on. If you are interested in helping us feed our calves, make sure you arrive early—we provide bottles to visitors for feeding on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Starting at 1:30 p.m. daily
South Mountain Creamery is open for visitors 362 days per year, rain or shine. We welcome everyone interested in learning about farming and the way we do things!
Self-guided tours are available 362 days a year. Just drop by; the farm opens at 10 a.m. Visit Karen’s Kountry Store to grab the Self-Guided Tour Sheet ($1.00). Follow the map and learn about different parts of the farm.
Karen’s Kountry Store is located in the heart of our farm operation. Sample products, purchase farm-fresh goods (don’t forget our home delivery!) enjoy a scoop of super-premium ice cream, learn helpful hints from the store staff, and watch the cows being milked from the picnic tables outside!
Don’t miss an update from the farm
