Join us for our Kids’ Workshop Series at the Farm, a weekly summer program packed with creativity, movement, farm fun, and ice cream! Held at our pavilion rain or shine, these hands-on workshops are designed for kids ages 3–12 and offer a new theme and activity each week.

June 2 – Week 1: Family Farmyard Bingo 🐓
Play farm-themed bingo with animal sounds, dry-erase cards, and fun prizes.
June 9 – Week 2: Kids Ice Cream Lab 🍨
Taste ice cream, learn how it’s made, help churn ice cream, enjoy games, and enter a drawing for free scoops.
June 16 – Week 3: Music & Movement 🥁
Dance, play instruments, twirl ribbons, and move to fun music.
June 23 – Week 4: Highland Cow Painting 🐮
Paint a farm-inspired masterpiece during this creative art session.
June 30 – Week 5: Tie Dye Creations 👕
Twist, tie, and dye t-shirts or bandanas to take home.
July 7 – Week 6: Kids Ice Cream Lab 🍦
Another chance to explore ice cream science with tasting, churning, games, and coloring.
July 14 – Week 7: Farm-Themed Story Time 📚🎶
Stories, music, and games inspired by life on the farm.

Cool off with water-themed games and summer fun (weather permitting).

Hands-on science-inspired crafts that spark curiosity and creativity.

Our fan-favorite ice cream lab returns with tasting, churning, and games.
August 18 – Week 12: Tie Dye Day 🌈
Another colorful tie-dye experience with take-home creations.
August 25 – Week 13: Craft & Photo Booth 📸
End the summer with fun crafts and a photo booth to capture the memories.

- Open to families with children ages 3–12
- Parents/guardians MUST stay (1 adult per 2 children)
- Not a drop-off class
- Workshops are for kids’ participation only; adults assist as needed
- Class size limits apply (most capped at 50 kids, unless otherwise noted)
- A minimum of 10 participants is required to hold a workshop
- Rain or shine — no refunds
- Advance registration required

Guided Farm Tours
at South Mountain Creamery
Every Saturday | 2 to 3 p.m.
We love having the opportunity to share our passion for farming and food with others. When you take a guided tour, you and your group will learn first-hand about farming, the importance of agriculture, and what really happens on the farm each and every day.
Guided tours are offered on select Saturdays. Small and large groups are welcome. Simply register online below. Tickets are $8 per person, and children ages 2 and under are free.
