Steps to Making Milk

It all starts with our cows––we make sure they have access to healthy grass pastures which is an important step to making great tasting, nutritious milk.

Our cows stay warm and comfortable in our robotic milking barn which is designed so they are able to come and go outside as they please, weather permitting. It also means they get to choose when they want to be milked!

When a cow is ready to be milked, they walk up to an automatic milking machine where they’re given treats while the machine cleans and attaches to the udder, and the cow is milked!

Shortly after our cows are milked, the milk is then taken to our milk plant. It’s pasteurized, and either homogenized or not depending on the type of milk, and then bottled in glass bottles.

After bottling, our team of delivery drivers takes our milk directly to grocery stores, farmer’s markets, and your front door. It doesn’t get fresher than that!
