A day dedicated to learning about plant-based and vegetarian food around the DC area, DC VegFest 2013 was one of the most fun events we have participated in! Hosted by Compassion Over Killing and founded by the Vegetarian Society of DC, this Saturday marked the 16th anniversary of this great community event, and the first time Hometown Harvest has participated.

Unlike other area services, Hometown Harvest is a farmer-owned delivery service representing over 150 growers right here in the DC-MD-VA area, and your support has made a huge difference in our local foodshed over the past few years.
