Baltimore, MD – The historic Lord Baltimore Hotel is delighted to announce several new partnerships with local food purveyors, further enhancing the culinary offerings at the hotel’s dining outlets. These collaborations aim to showcase the best of Maryland’s local flavors to hotel guests and Baltimore residents.
“Supporting local businesses is not only a commitment we take seriously but also a way to provide our guests with an authentic taste of Maryland. By featuring products from Charmed., South Mountain Creamery, Wight Tea Company, and MFG Toffee and Bark, we are able to enhance the guest experience with unique and flavorful offerings,” said Robi Francis-Kraft, Food & Beverage Manager for the Lord Baltimore Hotel. “We believe that incorporating these local flavors not only adds to our guests’ enjoyment but also contributes to the vibrant culinary scene of Baltimore.”
Charmed. at LB Bistro & Bakery
Charmed., a local bakery known for its homemade items and Mennonite roots, is providing a delightful selection of fresh-baked muffins, scones, and a variety of cookies, including peanut butter, snickerdoodle, and chocolate chip, to LB Bistro & Bakery, as well as a selection of desserts including angel food cake, red velvet cake, carrot cake and cheesecake.
South Mountain Creamery at LB Bistro & Bakery
Featured in LB Bistro & Bakery, South Mountain Creamery’s single-cup ice cream in flavors like strawberry, vanilla, and salted caramel will be available to guests. Additionally, the hotel will introduce a seasonal four-scoop flight to the selection, offering a taste of Maryland’s finest dairy products.
Wight Tea Company at LB Bistro & Bakery
LB Bistro & Bakery will also feature a selection of teas from Wight Tea Company, including Baltimore Breakfast (black tea), Tropical Cabana (fruity green tea with coconut), Ginger Peach (green tea with peach and ginger), and Blueberry Basil (caffeine-free rooibos tea). These unique blends reflect the passion and creativity of the Baltimore-based siblings behind Wight Tea Company.
These new partnerships follow the established partnership the hotel has had with Baltimore-based, woman-owned MFG Toffee and Bark, providing a variety of toffees and barks at LB Bistro & Bakery and at LB Marketplace.
